Patria

I think everyone deserves an apology from me about that first Enjolras card. Alright, now to save you all the googling of Patria, let me tell you it gets you nowhere. In the novel Enjolras has this absolute love of what is named to be "Patria", literally meaning the embodiment of France. Now I'm not sure (because I'm a shame and haven't got to the answer in the book yet) but this is what he says when people question if he has a lover; he answers with "my first love is always Patria." But there's some question as to whether he has a real girl (a prostitute) whom he calls Patria??? ???? I don't know??? Ugh uncertainty will kill me until I know.
What if I read the truth later and I've been saying the wrong thing this entire time???
